Katelyn is a junior studying animation at the College for Creative Studies in Detroit Michigan. She specializes in storyboarding strong emotions with a musical hand in them along with 2D drawn animation completing those animatics. She uses programs Storyboard Pro and Toonboom Harmony. Katelyn will complete her studies in 2026 with a BFA in animation and is currently seeking internship or professional work after her studies. My Story? Why am I boarding?
Gosh I love the behind the scenes of any project whether it’s the developmental or post production, I think that’s why I’ve endured three years of education, pure love. I’m a senior at CCS who focuses on story-boarding for TV and Film, my experience consists of working on films with my friends sophomore year along with competing in animation challenges and trying to follow my own project that was my junior film. My creativity consists of either emotional fantasy and the adorable faces of creatures beyond our world. I wish to expand my portfolio with boards of my own, others projects, and an animation reel that makes me grin.
